Junior and sophomore pairing CJ Donaldson and Jahiem White are continuing to build each other’s performance at fall camp this week, and behind the scenes, their work is being recognized.
Donaldson and White joined each other on the watch list for the Doak Walker Award, earned each year by college football’s top-voted running back.
WVU’s running backs make up two of 88 names on the preseason watch list. Donaldson and White’s recognition comes alongside senior quarterback Garrett Greene’s inclusion on the Walter Camp Player of the Year, Maxwell Award, and Wuerffel Trophy watch lists.
In addition, Mountaineers Wyatt Milum, Preston Fox, Ollie Straw, and Austin Brinkman all made positional award watch lists of their own this week.
