As the information surrounding the arrest of West Virginia head men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins continues to surface, West Virginia Director of Athletics Wren Baker met with the team on Saturday.
According to Jeff Goodman of Stadium, Baker met with the players in a meeting and told them no decision has been reached on Huggins’ future, but that Baker will keep them updated.
“West Virginia athletic director Wren Baker just met with the players,” Goodman’s tweet read. “Told them no decision has been made yet on Bob Huggins’ future, but he will keep them updated.”
This roster was constructed by Huggins and his staff this offseason by going for a lot of high quality transfers. On WVU’s current roster has five new additions from last season. Also, out of the 15 players on the current roster, six are in their final year of eligibility.
Baker and West Virginia University released a statement earlier today about Huggins’ Friday arrest.
