The 2024 NFL Draft has concluded, and the draft saw a couple of new former Mountaineers get added to NFL rosters. Let’s take a look at where these Mountaineers are in the NFL now.
Cardinals DL Dante Stills
Stills enters his second season with the Arizona Cardinals after being drafted in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, Stills started eight games and recorded 47 combined tackles and 3.5 sacks.
Cardinals LB Kyzir White
White enters his second season with the Cardinals after signing with the team in 2023 free agency. In his first season with the team, White recorded 90 combined tackles and two sacks before going down with a season-ending injury.
Bills CB Rasul Douglas
Douglas enters his first full season with the Buffalo Bills after being acquired from the Green Bay Packers at the trade deadline midseason last year. Down the stretch with the Bills last season, Douglas had 29 combined tackles and four interceptions.
Panthers WR Devin Carter
In case you missed it, Carter was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an UDFA following the 2024 NFL Draft. Carter will look to compete for a spot in the Panthers wide receiver room.
Browns LB Tony Fields II
Fields enters his fourth season with the Cleveland Browns after being drafted in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Last season, Fields played primarily on special teams and recorded 34 combined tackles and a fumble recovery touchdown.
Broncos WR David Sills V
Sills has signed a futures contract with the Denver Broncos after spending last season on their practice squad. He was elevated to the active roster a couple of times last season and was even credited with starting one game.
Dolphins LB David Long Jr.
Long enters his second season with the Miami Dolphins after being signed by the team in 2023 free agency. In his first season with the team, Long recorded 113 combined tackles and a sack.
Viking OL Doug Nester
In case you missed it, Nester was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an UDFA following the 2024 NFL Draft. Nester will look to compete for a spot in the Vikings offensive line room.
Giants OL Yodny Cajuste
Cajuste has signed a future contract with the New York Giants after spending last season on their practice squad. Cajuste has not appeared in an NFL regular season game since 2022 with the New England Patriots.
Giants WR Bryce Ford-Wheaton
Ford-Wheaton enters his second season with the Giants after being signed by the team as an UDFA following the 2023 NFL Draft. Ford-Wheaton missed his entire rookie season after tearing his ACL in preseason play.
Eagles QB Will Grier
Grier enters his first season with the Philadelphia Eagles after being signed in this year’s free agency period. Grier has not appeared in an NFL regular season game since 2019 with the Carolina Panthers.
Steelers CB Beanie Bishop Jr.
In case you missed it, Bishop was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an UDFA following the 2024 NFL Draft. Bishop will look to compete for a spot in the Steelers cornerback room.
Steelers C Zach Frazier
Frazier enters his first season with the Steelers after being drafted in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Frazier will look to compete to be the Steelers’ starting center this season.
Seahawks QB Geno Smith
Smith enters his sixth season with the Seattle Seahawks after being signed as a free agent during the 2019 free agency period. Last season, Smith completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 3,624 passing yards and 20 passing touchdowns.
49ers OT Colton McKivitz
McKivitz enters his fifth season with the San Francisco 49ers after being drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Last season, McKivitz started every game for the 49ers and helped them reach Super Bowl LVIII.
