West Virginia baseball’s game against Penn State on Wednesday has been canceled.
The Mountaineers and Nittany Lions’ contest was canceled due to field conditions at Penn State after it rained on Wednesday morning.
“Due to the rain storm this morning, field conditions will not be ready to play tonight vs. West Virginia. The game is canceled,” Penn State said in a post on social media.
West Virginia baseball is back in action this weekend at home for a three-game series against Baylor. WVU and PSU have one meeting later this season on May 8 from Kendrick Family Ballpark in Morgantown.
