Watch: Jevon Carter Still Brings Up Bad Memories for John Wall

John Wall and Jevon Carter

While rattling off where NBA players went to college, former All-Star turned Amazon Prime analyst John Wall was thrown a familiar Mountaineer he’d rather forget.

Wall knows which Jevon Carter represents because it reminds him of one of the worst memories of his basketball journey – a WVU team (although before Carter’s time as a Mountaineer) beat Wall and Kentucky in the 2010 Elite Eight to advance to the Final Four.

“You know where he went… I don’t like this school, sorry. They beat me in the Elite 8. West Virginia,” said an annoyed Wall when he saw Carter pop up.

There’s no denying Wall had the better pro career, granted Carter’s is still ongoing, but he will clearly never forget what happened in March of 2010.
