WVU News Daily is a new Monday through Friday video series attempting to shed a light on all of the happenings within the WVU sports world, spanning across all WVU athletics programs.
On the May 22nd edition, we recap the WVU baseball victory over Kansas State that put the Mountaineers into the Big 12 Conference Tournament semifinals tonight where they will match up against the Arizona State Sun Devils. Plus, the WVU Men’s Basketball team will participate in the Players Era 8 MTE in November, and as the bracket was revealed yesterday, West Virginia learned that they will play the Auburn Tigers in the opening round. Additionally, the Outdoor WVU track & field Team has multiple athletes that will compete in the upcoming NCAA Championships.
