WVU Sports News Round-Up for 4/17/26: Football Spring Festival Approaches, Weekend Preview

WVU News Daily is a new Monday through Friday video series attempting to shed a light on all of the happenings within the WVU sports world, spanning across all WVU athletics programs.

For the April 17th edition, we share some information on tomorrow’s upcoming Gold-Blue Spring Festival for WVU Football plus preview another upcoming conference series for WVU Baseball this weekend. Additionally, the 2026 Big 12 Media Days schedule has been revealed, as has the WVU volleyball conference schedule for this season. Both WVU men’s basketball and WVU wrestling also recently announced new transfer players that have now officially signed on to join their respective programs.
