WVU News Daily is a new Monday through Friday video series attempting to shed a light on all of the happenings within the WVU sports world, spanning across all WVU athletics programs.
On the March 31st edition, we preview another WVU baseball game as the Mountaineers, who are now ranked among the top teams in the nation, play a road game against the Arizona Wildcats. Interestingly enough, the contest is the extremely rare non-conference game featuring two teams that play in the same conference, so this game won’t count towards the Big 12 standings, where West Virginia is also highly ranked. Additionally, we detail the student Athlete of the Week Winners this week from both the University and the WVU football team.
