The WVU basketball team returns home on Saturday for their fifth game of conference play, and they will be debuting a new but familiar look.
WVU Basketball announced a new set of throwback jerseys on Wednesday, calling them “Unmistakably West Virginia,” on its X account.
Mountaineer Nation did not disagree, with most comments on the initial announcement expressing excitement, with many saying the new set should be a permanent primary look.
As the Mountaineers approach their debut of the new uniforms, many fans are wondering how they could purchase their own jerseys. That question has already been answered, as the program’s official NIL Store page began selling the jerseys for each player shortly following the announcement.
Throwback jerseys can be purchased here on the NIL Store website. They are also available at the WVU Team Shop and will be made available at the concourse ahead of the 6 p.m. tip-off against Colorado.
The Mountaineers are also giving koozies featuring the jersey design to the first 5,000 fans to arrive at the game.
