Which WVU Football Recruits Will Participate in Spring Practice?

WVU Football Practice Field
Mike Asti / WVSN

After bringing in the highest-ranked recruiting class in WVU football history, the Mountaineer coaching staff will be following that up by getting the majority of that talented class on campus early. The large 2026 class featured additions at nearly every position, and of those 49 recruits that West Virginia signed, it is believed that 37 of them will enroll early and participate in spring practice in 2026.

This is positive news for a WVU football team that will be counting on several of these newcomers to play contributing roles during the 2026 season. With the majority of the class enrolling at the University next month in January and then participating in the 15 practice sessions that culminate with the Spring Showcase, they will get a jump-start, not only on learning the schemes and playbooks, but this will also allow them to earn an advantage physically; as they will be able to participate in upcoming Winter Workouts.

Below is a list detailing each of the 37 recruits that should be participating in Spring Practice when it begins for WVU.
