MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Back once again was Red Panda, a favorite halftime show at the Hope Coliseum.

Energy was high Thursday during the Backyard Brawl when WVU basketball beat Pitt 71-49. The energy continued through halftime as the Mountaineer Maniacs counted the number of bowls the Mountaineer tossed the performer.

Rong Niu, who performs under the name Red Panda, rides a 7-foot tall unicycle around with one foot while balancing stacked bowls on the other foot. She then flips the bowls onto her head as seen in the WVSN photo below by photography Kelsie LeRose.

The popular halftime acrobatic performer also takes her performance to NBA and WNBA arenas. According to ESPN, Niu recently fell and broke her wrist but began performing again in early November before making her way to West Virginia.
