Texans sign WVU long snapper

Austin Brinkman has earned his shot at the NFL this offseason.

West Virginia’s five-year long snapper and 2024 Iron Mountaineer Award selection signed his first professional contract with the Houston Texans on Saturday.

Brinkman joins the growing class of WVU undrafted rookies, headlined by quarterback turned wide receiver Garrett Greene, tight end Kole Taylor, and defensive lineman Fatorma Mulbah.
