Former WVU tight end Kole Taylor will not be going far from Morgantown for his first professional contract.
Following the conclusion of the NFL Draft on Saturday, Taylor signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent.
WVU utilized Taylor significantly as a receiving threat last season. Paired with fellow senior Garrett Greene and occasionally redshirt sophomore Nicco Marchiol, Taylor made 43 catches for 448 yards and three touchdowns.
Taylor came to Morgantown from LSU as a junior in 2023 and caught 35 receptions for 444 yards and four touchdowns. Taylor was named to the All-Big 12 Conference Second Team as a junior. He earned Honorable Mention honors as a senior
