WVU moves up seven spots in the newest On3 D1 baseball rankings from No. 24 to No. 17 after extending their winning streak to 14 games after a sweep of Cincinnati this past weekend.
No. 17 West Virginia has been one of the hottest teams in the country with a 34-4 record, riding a 14-game winning streak, and leading the Big 12 with a 13-3 conference record.
The WVU offense and pitching staff is ranked first in the Big 12 and rank in the top half of country.
The Mountaineers will play out of conference on Tuesday, facing Penn State, looking to win their 15th consecutive game.
