Treylen Brown, a former lineman for Rich Rodriguez at Jacksonville State, has been hired as West Virginia football’s assistant offensive line coach.
Brown spent five seasons at Jacksonville State where he made 25 starts, including every game in his senior season in 2023. In that season he was named Second-Team All-CUSA and helped pave the way for a very high-powered offense.
“Trey Brown has been as good a senior leader on the offensive line as I’ve ever had,” said Rich Rodriguez after Brown’s final game of his college career.
This is a guy who knows what Rodriguez wants and knows what the culture of this team needs to be. Even without any prior coaching experience, Brown should be a great fit in this new era of WVU football.
