WVU Lands Brenen Lorient

WVU has officially landed former North Texas forward Brenen Lorient as their third addition through the transfer portal after Ross Hodge joined the team.

Lorient is a 6-foot-9 forward who officially announced his commitment to West Virginia after entering the transfer portal just one day ago. he will rejoin Hodge in Morgantown after playing for him at North Texas last season.

This past season Lorient averaged 11.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while shooting 56.9% from the field. He was named the AAC Sixth Man of the Year and was also selected to the All-Conference First Team.

He becomes the third player to announce their commitment to the Mountaineers who are amid a full roster turnover in Hodge’s first off-season in Morgantown.
