West Virginia and Penn State cancel game due to weather

West Virginia’s first of two matchups against Penn State is over before it began.

Tuesday’s matchup between the Mountaineers and Nittany Lions in Morgantown is canceled, WVU announced Monday. The decision was made due to expected cold weather.

The game will not be made up, leaving WVU with one less nonconference game on its schedule.

WVU will take on Penn State on April 22 but will not get the chance to play host to the Big Ten competitors.
