As one of the greatest Mountaineers of all-time in WVU Women’s Basketball history, JJ Quinerly just had her storybook career in the gold and blue come to and end. However, the already long list of awards and achievements for Quinerly continues to get longer.
The WBCA has named Quinerly as an Honorable Mention All-American honor, adding to her Big-12 First Team and Defensive Player of the Year selections already this season.
On top of all of those awards, Quinerly also became the program’s top-three scorer of all time, eclipsing 2,000 career points. She was also names just one of four finalists for the Naismith National Defensive Player of the Year award.
