West Virginia has reportedly contacted Central Connecticut State transfer

WVU has reportedly reached out to Devin Haid, who entered the portal from Central Connecticut State.

Devin Haid has been highly touted once he decided to enter his name into the transfer portal, hearing from schools like Mississippi State, Texas, St. Johns, NC State, and West Virginia.

Haid is a 6-foot-5 junior guard from Wooster, Ohio. In his lone season at Central Connecticut State, he averaged 14.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, earning him a Second Team All-NEC selection in the 2024-2025 season, and was named a finalist for the Riley Wallace Award, highlighting the most impactful transfer at the DIvision one level.

After WVU announced Ross Hodge as their new head coach, the Mountaineers are finally getting back to work to add players out of the transfer portal after it opened on Mar. 24th.
