One and Done: K.J. Tenner to Enter Transfer Portal

Soon to be WVU sophomore announced that he will enter his name into the transfer portal after spending just one season in Morgantown.

Tenner was a role player for the Mountaineers this past season, coming off the bench in 30 games averaging 13 minutes a game, 2.4 points, and one assist while shooting 35% from the field. Tenner showed flashes throughout the season of being a really solid player and was dependable whenever his number was called.

Tenner will have three years of eligibility remaining.

This is now the second player from last year’s team to announce they will enter the portal, joining another freshman, Jonathan Powell. Both of these players entering the portal come as the team continues to search for a new head coach after Darian DeVries took the job at Indiana, potentially putting WVU through another full reset just a year later.
