Sencire Harris expresses support for Chester Frazier on Twitter

Sencire Harris took to his X account to support WVU Assistant Coach Chester Frazier who is expected to be in the mix for the Mountaineers head coach vacancy.

Former WVU basketball player John Flowers tweeted earlier today, “The most logical thing to do would be to retain Chester Frazier, who is overqualified to be the head coach.” Harris, who is one of the few players eligible to return next season, replied to Flowers, with three emojis of two exclamation points.

This is the second instance of Harris indicating his support for Frazier, who has been coaching college basketball for over a decade and was a major component of the team’s recruiting success. Yesterday, Harris replied to an article breaking down some potential candidates for the coaching vacancy with “We want Fraz!!!!”

Chester Frazier is expected to be near the top of the list of candidates for Wren Baker and his staff as they move along with their coaching search.
