After not being selected to play in the NCAA Tournament, Vice President/Director of Athletics Wren Baker and head coach Darian DeVries have announced that the Mountaineers will not participate in the NIT Tournament or the College Basketball Crown Tournament.
“After consulting with our team, we have decided not to participate in any other postseason tournaments and will direct our support to the current members of our program and our preparation for next year,” Baker said.
The Mountaineers 19 wins and six Quad 1 wins were not enough to get them into the NCAA Tournament.
