No. 1 Houston and No. 3 Arizona will face each other in the Big 12 championship game after their wins over No. 4 BYU and No. 2 Texas Tech.
Houston defeated BYU by 20 points in their matchup yesterday evening. Even without J’Wan Roberts, Houston didn’t slow down forcing 13 turnovers earning 16 points and adding 18 points in the paint.
Arizona overpowered Texas Tech by just six points. The Wildcats were 8 of 16 from beyond the 3-point arc and shot 51% from the field overall.
The two teams last met in mid-February for a regular season conference matchup. Houston took the victory by just four points.
The championship game is set for this evening at 6:00 p.m. EST.
