The WVU Baseball team has put together a dominate start to the season, cruising to a 15-1 record to begin the year. The true test will now begin in Steve Sabin’s first season at the helm as the Mountaineers will begin Big 12 play against one of the conference’s most elite baseball programs.
The three game series is set to begin Friday night in Stillwater against the struggling Cowboys of Oklahoma State. OSU for years has been at the top of the Big 12 Conference, but they have gotten off to a disappointing start to the season with a 9-7 record.
While the Mountaineers will be looking to continue their hot start, the Cowboys will be looking to start their conference slate off fresh and find new life. The first pitch for Friday’s matchup is set for 7:00 p.m. ET and can be viewed on ESPN+.
