The USA TODAY coaches’ poll, posted Tuesday, ranks West Virgnia at No. 15. The Mountaineers moved up one spot from last week after defeating Kansas State 73-69 and then losing to TCU 71-65 in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship tournament.
Other Big 12 teams ranked in the poll are No. 18 Kansas State, No. 16 Baylor, and No. 6 TCU.
The Mountaineers await selection Sunday, March 16, to find out their seeding for the NCAA tournament.
