West Virginia has officially offered Carter Jones, a 2027 offensive line prospect who completed a visit on campus by receiving an offer from the Mountaineers.
Jones is a 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle from Poquoson, Virginia, in the 2027 class. He has a series of visits lined up for the coming weeks with Georgia, UNC, Clemson South Carolina, Pitt, and Maryland. He began his stretch of tours at WVU on March 8th.
Rich Rodriguez and staff have decided to extend an offer to Jones after he visited campus and joined a long list of teams that offered him. He holds offers from Liberty, Duke, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest, to name a few. Something to keep an eye on is the fact that Jones is still a few years away from starting his collegiate career but is held in high regard around the country as someone who will be a good talent when he gets to campus.
