When discussing last year’s game film, Rich Rod didn’t hold back.
“Watched Texas Tech until I threw up, watched a little bit of that and got sick,” Rodriguez said.
Last season, the Mountaineers were defeated in dominant fashion, losing 52-15 while allowing 567 total yards against Texas Tech. This was the most the Mountaineers lost all season, and was the last coached game by Neal Brown.
WVU alumni, Pat McAfee tweeted this out saying, “Uhhh yeah… I’m thinking WVU is back.”
The intensity that Rodriguez plans on bringing back to Morgantown has been clear and he showed this during his recent press conference on Thursday.
Rodriguez and his coaching staff are set to start spring practices next week on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
