West Virginia loses Jevaughn Codlin to Notre Dame

This morning, Notre Dame announced they are hiring former West Virginia assistant secondary coach Jevaughn Codlin. Notre Dame plans to use Codlin as an analyst.

While coaching for the Mountaineers, Codlin helped develop WVU All-American Beanie Bishop during the 2023 season. He was utilized as an on-the-road recruiter as well under Neal Brown.

Before joining the Mountaineers, Codlin was an assistant defensive backs coach at Emporia State, a Division II school that plays in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

This is a tough loss for WVU as Codlin has shown much potential in his short two years in Morgantown. He now looks to contribute to a promising Notre Dame program.
