Former WVU guard Erik Stevenson signs a 10-day contract and is elevated from the G league to make his debut with the Washington Wizards.
Stevenson, a 6-foot-4 guard, has spent the whole season thus far in the G League. In 16 games, Stevenson has averaged 15.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while playing 22 minutes per game.
Stevenson will get his first shot at playing at the NBA level with the Washington Wizards after spending most of his career with the Austin Spurs, the San Antonio Spurs G-League affiliate.
Before entering the NBA as an undrafted free agent during the 2023 draft, Stevenson averaged 15.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in his lone year playing for the Mountaineers.
Stevenson will join the Wizards when they return from the All-Star Break later this week when they return to action on Friday, Feb. 21st against the Milwaukee Bucks.
