Wilson Paces WVU in Florida

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Feb. 15, 2025) – West Virginia University junior golfer Kaleb Wilson is tied for fifth place at 4-under-par after the first 36 holes of competition at the Gators Invitational in Gainesville, Florida.

Wilson shot rounds of 68-68 for his 4-under-par total. Wilson is three shots off the lead with three golfers sitting at -7 after two rounds.

Todd Duncan (74-69) and Max Green (73-70) are tied for 39th place at +3. Carson Kammann posted rounds of 75-73 (+8), while Pierce Grieve recorded rounds of 77-79 (+16). Freshman Ryan Leach is competing as an individual and posted rounds of 75-69 (+4).

The Mountaineers are tied for ninth place with Jacksonville and North Florida at +10 after shooting rounds of 290-280 on the par-70 Mark Bostick Golf Course.

Golfers will complete the final 18 holes on Sunday, beginning at 7:20 a.m.
