White played for the Mountaineers from 2005-2008 and played under head coach Rich Rodriguez. In that time, he became the first college quarterback to start and win four consecutive bowl games while recording 6,049 passing yards and 53 passing touchdowns and throwing 23 interceptions. White is known as one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the history of the sport for his rushing ability and recorded 4,480 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns.
