Pat McAfee shines in commercial for girls’ flag football

Former Mountaineer and current sports analyst Pat McAfee starred in a Super Bowl commercial released by the NFL in attempt to make girls’ flag football a varsity sport in all 50 states. McAfee plays the roll of a principal at the school implementing the sport into their athletics department.

In a post on social media, McAfee had nothing but praise for the commercial and its message.

“Making girls flag football a varsity sport in all 50 states would be fantastic for my daughter and all of the athletic girls in our wonderful country.. The girls play good football.. and it’s gonna be an Olympic sport…we need to DOMINATE,” McAfee posted.
