The West Virginia Mountaineers picked up their latest commitment a 3-star tight end out of Cincinnati, Ohio, Sam Hamilton.
Hamilton is the No. 44 tight end in the class of 2026. He visited Morgantown on junior day on Feb. 1 and almost immediately committed to the program.
The Mountaineers have found their all-around tight end of the future. Hamilton has shown off his hands and blocking skills in recent camps.
Head Coach Rich Rodriguez has a hard task replacing Kole Taylor, one of West Virginia’s best players last season. Hamilton is looking to step into this role in 2026.
