West Virginia has two players competing in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
Those two players are 2024 Iron Mountaineer Award winner and long snapper Austin Brinkman and consensus All-American offensive tackle Wyatt Milum, who is projected to be selected in the first few rounds of the upcoming NFL Draft.
Austin Brinkman’s Official Measurements:
- Height: 6-foot-3
- Weight: 242 pounds
- Hand size: 9 1/2 inches
- Arm length: 30 1/2 inches
- Wingspan: 74 3/8 inches
West Virginia’s special teams unit was one of the bright spots this season, thanks in part to Brinkman—a position that often goes unrecognized. The last WVU long snapper to sign with an NFL team was Rex Sunahara, who joined the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Sunahara is currently the starting long snapper for the Cleveland Browns.
Wyatt Milum’s Official Measurements:
- Height: 6-foot-3
- Weight: 315 pounds
- Hand size: 10 1/8 inches
- Arm length: 32 5/8 inches
- Wingspan: 79 5/8 inches
Milum earned multiple accolades this past season, including Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year, first-team All-Big 12, and one of the highest Pro Football Focus grades among offensive linemen in the country.
Milum has stated that he is most comfortable at offensive tackle, as he has played the position since high school. However, he has been training at guard and believes he can play at any position on the offensive line.
The Senior Bowl will take place Feb. 1 and air on NFL Network, giving two former Mountaineers a chance to showcase their skills to NFL scouts on a national stage.
