Circa Sports released the latest odds to win the 2026 NCAA National Championship. After all of their recent offseason acquisitions, West Virginia football is currently +50,000 to win it all.
After Rich Rodriguez signed as the new head coach of the football team, he got right to work on retooling the roster. He brought back two key players for the Mountaineers, Jahiem White and Rodney Gallagher. He then hit the transfer portal, signing many key additions including highly coveted cornerback Michael Coats Jr. from Nevada.
“You can win national championships at West Virginia,” Rodriguez said in December following his return to West Virginia.
West Virginia is one of the few Power 5 schools without a national championship in its history. After a disappointing year, the program hopes to make a statement in the 2025-2026 season.
