West Virginia visits former 4-star quarterback commit

West Virginia Head Coach Rich Rodriguez visited talented quarterback Brodie McWhorter earlier this morning at Cass High School in Georgia.

McWhorter is a 4-star quarterback in the 2026 class who was previously committed to play for Neal Brown. He decided to re-open his recruitment and has received visits from many teams in recent weeks.

Although Rodriguez has been bringing in many quarterbacks out of the transfer portal, getting a young guy who can evolve under his system would be crucial.

McWhorter has not released his top schools yet, but many believe he is between staying home and attending the University of Georgia or recommitting to the Mountaineers. This will be a big get for first-year head coach Rodriguez, who has been known to find the right quarterback fit for his team.
