West Virginia women’s basketball forward Kylee Blacksten averages 7.5 points per game and just came off of a 10-point game with six rebounds and three assists against Colorado Wednesday evening. For Blacksten, there is always room for improvement.
“There’s always areas to improve,” Blacksten said. “I want to keep looking for new opportunities to get better both on and off the court.”
Blacksten shared she wants to be able to read the floor faster, move the ball, and expand her abilities through driving and down in the post.
Having previously struggled to stay on the floor due to fouls, Blacksten now averages 1.7 fouls per game and is continuing to add more minutes.
“Being able to stay on the floor and have the opportunity is awesome to continue to play and get better,” said Blacksten.
Blacksten will showcase her talent when the Mountaineers take on Iowa State this Sunday afternoon.
