Saturday evening, Virginia Union safety William Davis announced his commitment to West Virginia on social media. The junior entered the transfer portal on Dec. 21 receiving offers from Akron, Youngstown State, Chattanooga, and others.
This past season, Davis played in four games and recorded 13 total tackles including 11 solo tackles with one sack. He had 4.5 tackles for loss. Davis has one year of eligibility remaining.
