According to A&P Sports Agency, Northern Iowa running back transfer Tye Edwards has committed to West Virginia.
This past season, Edwards, a 6-foot-4, 230-pound ba,ck rushed for 1,012 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 6.4 yards per carry. Before Northern Iowa, Edwards was at UTSA, Hutchinson Community College and Georgia Military School.
In 2021, at Hutchinson Community College, Edwards was a JUCO All-American. The Palatka, Florida native provides West Virginia a new power back after losing CJ Donaldson to the transfer portal this offseason.
