According to sources cited by college football insider Pete Thamel, West Virginia is expected to hire Rod West as their new cornerbacks coach.
West spent the last four seasons at Appalachian State as their pass game coordinator and cornerbacks coach. He’s also spent time with Chattanooga, Moorhead State and Richmond.
He was a member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) 35 under 35 and has been apart of a staff that led Appalachian State to two Sun Belt East titles. With the addition of West, Rich Rodriguez continues to fill out his staff in his second tenure at WVU.
