Beanie Bishop catches interception early in NFL regular season finale

Former WVU cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr. made an impact early in a monumental game on Saturday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers rookie caught an interception after teammate Patrick Queen deflected Joe Burrow’s pass against Cincinnati late in the second quarter. Bishop kept Cincinnati at just a 10-7 lead with the catch.

Bishop Jr., along with fellow WVU alum Zach Frazier, is set to compete in the NFL Playoffs after the regular season finale on Saturday. With a win, though, Pittsburgh would not be playing the Bengals.

The video of Bishop’s catch can be found here.

The Steelers trail Cincinnati 13-7 entering halftime in Pittsburgh.
