Freshman running back Murphy Clement followed in his brother’s footsteps, Hudson Clement, after signing to play at Illinois.
Clement came to West Virginia as a PWO and redshirted. During his senior year of high school he was named the 2023 West Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year and led his high school to a 13-0 season and state championship.
Clement will have four years of eligibility remaining.
