JJ Quinerly continues to put up impressive stats

Senior guard JJ Quinerly has impressed the Mountaineer fanbase with her intensity each game and continuous ability to reach new heights.

At the start of the 2024 season, Quinerly was selected to the Naismith Women’s College Player of the Year Preseason Watchlist, Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year Preseason Watchlist, Wooden Award Preseason Top 50 Watchlist, and an Unanimous selection to the All-Big 12  Preseason Team.  

Most recently, Quinerly broke the program record for most points in a quarter, docking in at 17 in the New Year’s Day matchup against UCF. In the same game, she hit a career-high in points scored in a game with 31. 

Quinerly has surpassed the 1,000-point mark, sitting at 1,588 in her career, 224 being during the 2024 season. During a game, she averages 18.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists.

Quinerly looks to increase her stats Saturday evening when the Mountaineers take on BYU at home.
