Watson-Trent, a Pittsburgh native, has accumulated 349 total tackles (159 solo), six passes defended, six sacks, six forced fumbles and two interceptions over the last three seasons. Four forced fumbles came this past season and the two interceptions were in 2023.
Watson-Trent entered the transfer portal last Saturday and West Virginia appears to be his first and only offer so far. He has one year of remaining eligibility.
