WVU’s 2024 Record: By the Numbers

West Virginia concluded their 2024 season this past week with a loss in the Frisco Bowl to No. 25 Memphis, ending their season 6-7.

Let’s look at the makeup of their record:

West Virginia was 3-4 at home, 3-2 on the road and 0-1 at neutral site (bowl game). The Mountaineers were 5-4 in conference play and 1-2 in nonconference play.

WVU was 3-1 in one-score games. 0-4 in games they scored less than 20 points and 2-3 in games they allowed more than 30 points.

Lastly, they were 6-2 in games they score more than 30 points.
