Jahiem White Leaves Bowl Game with Lower-Body Injury, Shares Update on Social Media

Sophomore running back Jaheim White was sidelined for the remainder of the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl due to a lower body injury. White’s injury occurred just before the end of the first half. 

White put out a statement following the game thanking his fans for checking up on him and clarifying that it was “no major injury, just a pull.” He described the West Virginia fan base as the “best fans in the Big 12.” 

Before his injury, White had 28 rushing yards on seven attempts. He finishes the season with 845 rushing yards, 122 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns total.
