Friday is an exciting day for Mountaineer Nation as newly named head coach Rich Rodriguez returns for his introductory press conference as does former Mountaineer and well-known sports media personality Pat McAfee.
McAfee’s program, The Pat McAfee Show, will be broadcast live from the WVU Coliseum ahead of Rodriguez’s press conference. The show will be broadcast live from noon to 2 p.m. EST on ESPN and then continue on YouTube/ESPN+ from 2-3 p.m.
WVU Vice President and Athletics Director Wren Baker is set to begin to introduce Rodriguez at 1:30 EST.
Both the McAfee show and press conference are open to students and the public. Parking will be on a first come first serve basis, while the Gold and Blue Gates will open at 10:30 a.m.
Select concessions will also be available.
Seating for PMS will be available in sections 109 to 115 and C1 to C5. Seating for the press conference will be available from 101 to 108.
Just like major sporting events, fans will have to enter through a metal detector and the clear bag policy is still in place.
