Three-star linebacker Michael Hastie officially signed with the Mountaineers. Hastie verbally committed to West Virginia in April.
The 6’3, 215 high school senior is originally from Douglasville, GA and attended Douglas County High School. He helped his team to a 10-2 record as a senior and had more than 30 wins during his career.
ESPN ranks Hastie at No. 97 at his position and No. 178 overall in Georgia. Hastie received 28 Division I offers including Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Florida State, Indiana, Kansas, Louisville, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pitt, SMU, Texas A&M and Wake Forest.
