Another Mountaineer Defender Ruled Out for Remainder of Texas Tech Game

According to WVU’s radio broadcast, West Virginia starting cornerback Garnett Hollis has been ruled out for the remainder of their game against Texas Tech.

Hollis was injured in the second quarter. He had three total tackles (one solo) in the game before exiting.

This season, the senior transfer from Northwestern has 41 total tackles (24 solo), six pass breakups and a fumble recovery. His former teammate at Northwestern and current WVU teammate Jaheem Joseph, was also ruled out for the remainder of the game.
