Junior punter Oliver Straw was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week after his performance against UCF this past Saturday. The Mountaineers won 31-21 giving them an overall record of 6-5 (5-3 in Big 12).
Straw punted four times for 200 yards. His best was 57 yards which was the longest of his career. Two of his punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
